Mookotu Chooranam means Nasal/Respiratory Powder in Tamil — in the Sirappu Vidhi (Special Rules) of the Nithya Karma Vidhi (1867) as the single most complete herbal formula of the Suddha Sanmarkkam morning discipline. It’s Vallalar’s own formula, written in his own hand, with exact proportions, exact preparation, and an exact time of day. This blend is hand-prepared by Sanmarkkam Life following the Nithya Karma Vidhi as the sole authoritative source.

In the Sirappu Vidhi, Vallalar writes: “Take one part of Potralai Kayanthakarai or Karisalankanni leaf, and one quarter part each of Thoothuvali, Musumusukkai, and cumin. Boil these in equal parts of water and cow’s milk. When half the liquid has evaporated, strain it, add jaggery to taste, and drink it on an empty stomach at dawn.” Vallalar describes this formula as acting on all three bodily humors — Vāta, Pitta, and Kapha — bringing them into balance and preparing the body and mind for the reception of Arut Perun Jothi (Vast Grace Light). 📦 Conservazione

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Once opened, seal the zip-lock and store upright, or transfer to an airtight container.
