We collect personal data only where necessary and always with a lawful basis under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

This data is used solely for technical security and site performance purposes and is not used to identify individual visitors.
If you contact us through a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties.
If you subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list, we collect your email address and, where provided, your name. We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) (Kit Inc., USA) to manage email communications. Your data is transferred to Kit servers in the United States under standard contractual clauses in compliance with GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email we send.
If you request a product through our Solidarity Emporium or make a contribution, we collect the data necessary to process and fulfil your request: name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payments are processed securely by third-party providers β we do not store payment card data on our servers.
If you make a donation through our site, your data is processed by DonorBox (Donor Box Inc., USA) in accordance with their privacy policy. We receive confirmation of your donation and, where provided, your name and email address for acknowledgement purposes.
If you voluntarily provide your phone number on our subscription confirmation page, we use it solely to contact you personally via WhatsApp to welcome you as a new member and to share information about Sanmarkkam Life APS and how to support our mission. Providing your phone number is entirely optional and independent from your email subscription consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting privacy@sanmarkkamlife.org.
We use the following third-party services on this website. Each acts as a data processor or independent data controller as specified.
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) to analyse anonymous traffic data and understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data including pages visited, time spent on site, and general geographic location. This data is anonymised and aggregated β we cannot identify individual visitors. Google may transfer data to servers outside the European Economic Area. We have enabled IP anonymisation. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Our Solidarity Emporium runs on WooCommerce (Automattic Inc., USA). WooCommerce processes order data including name, email, shipping address, and order history to fulfil requests. Data is stored on our WordPress hosting servers.
Payment processing may be handled by Stripe (Stripe Inc., USA). Stripe collects and processes payment card data directly and securely. We do not have access to your full card details. Stripe may transfer data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses.
Payments may also be processed by PayPal (PayPal Holdings Inc., USA). If you choose to pay via PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal platform and their privacy policy applies.
Donations made through this site are processed by DonorBox (Donor Box Inc., USA). DonorBox collects donor information including name, email, and payment data to process and record donations. Data may be transferred to the USA under standard contractual clauses.
Email communications and newsletters are managed through Kit (Kit Inc., USA), formerly known as ConvertKit. When you subscribe to our mailing list, your email address and name are stored on Kit servers in the United States under standard contractual clauses in compliance with GDPR.
We use ProveSource (ProveSource Online Ltd.) to display real-time social proof notifications showing recent visitor activity. ProveSource collects data about visitor behaviour including IP addresses, browser information, pages visited, and interaction data. This data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.
We use Complianz (Complianz B.V., Netherlands) to manage cookie consent on this website. Complianz stores your cookie preferences in a cookie on your device. No personal data is sent to Complianz servers.
We use HubSpot (HubSpot Inc., USA) as our contact management system to store data for subscribers who voluntarily provide their phone number. HubSpot stores contact information including name, email address, phone number, and consent record. Data may be transferred to the USA under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Subscribers who voluntarily provide their phone number may be contacted via WhatsApp (WhatsApp LLC, a Meta Platforms Inc. company, USA). We use WhatsApp solely for personal outreach to members who have explicitly consented to be contacted for information about Sanmarkkam Life APS and its mission.

Community Contributors. If you submit a product contribution to the Sanmarkkam Emporium, we collect your name and contact details solely for the purpose of coordinating the review and logistics of your contribution. This data is not shared with third parties, is not used for marketing purposes, and is deleted once the contribution process is concluded.
